Careers Module for Students of Languages

Event in Dublin – Survey Results + Workshops

In 2015, the Erasmus+ project CES&L, short for 'Crafting Employability Strategies for Higher Education Students of Languages in Europe', stepped up to increase employability for language students. First results and guidelines will be published on September 7th at the "Careers Module for Students of Languages" event in Dublin supported by the Association for Higher Education Careers Services (AHECS).

The event is aimed at Professionals, employers, academic staff and teaching assistants of languages have the opportunity to explore how careers workshops could help their students reach their career potential during and after college.

The CES&L project team has worked with employers across Europe to seek their views on how to support students to become more employable and also to reinforce among employers the importance of the modern languages degree on the international job market. The results will be presented at the event. There will also be lectures and workshops concerning topics such as "Entrepreneurship" and "How do I Shape my Future with Others?".

The CES&L (Erasmus+) Careers Module for Students of Languages is a two year project funded by Erasmus+ and co-ordinated by the Institute of Technology, Tralee, Ireland. Cooperation also exists between partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Poland and Great Britain. The project involves nine partners in seven countries. trendence Institut GmbH is research partner for this project.
